Hench wins A-Verdi Storage Containers / CNYMS Opener
On the initial start of the race the 26 of Shawn Gosselin did an easy roll as he got caught up in the concrete turtles and mud which brought out a caution. With the yellow displayed, winner of heat 2, Tim Durland had to avoid a slowing car going into turn three and caught a heavy cushion which folded his oil cooler and dropped oil over much of turn 3 & 4. Once all was clear the race would resume with an original starting line up minus Durland and Gosselin.
From his pole position Rick Hench would jump out to an early lead and never look back in the nonstop 20 lap event picking up his first win with CNYMS in almost two years.

CNYMS Management Cancels April 19th Show at Moto Town USA
Sodus, NY – Due to personnel scheduling issues and an extensive out of town travel schedule for Central New York Mini Sprint owner Mike Emhof, the first ever indoor program for the A-Verdi Storage Containers / CNYMS 2008 tour has been postponed. Moto Town USA owner Tommy “D” and CNYMS management are working out details to find a date in the future that would work for both parties. The April 19th program at Moto Town USA will still go on without the CNYMS portion.
