AMSA Announces Race to Honor Carol Tague
The competitors of the American Mini Sprint Association A.M.S.A. recently announced that one of their events during the 2007 season will be run in honor of club owner, Jerry Tague’s wife Carol, who passed away February 19, 2007 from a lengthy illness. Please keep Jerry & his family in your prayers.
Carol worked side-by-side with Jerry at the races. Carol was always there with a friendly smile, even after a stroke left her unable to participate to the capacity that she always had. Carol was such an integral part of Jerry’s work with the American Mini Sprint Association (A.M.S.A.) that it only seems fitting that a race be run in her honor. More information will be posted to the web site when it becomes available. Although specific details around the race are still being determined, the friends and competitors of the A.M.S.A. were anxious to announce the Carol Tague Memorial to show their respect and support for the Tague family during this most difficult time.
