Devil\'s Bowl Still on for Sunday July 13th
As of 10:00 AM Sunday morning July 13th the races are still on for this evening's event at the Devil's Bowl Speedway. We will update the site at Noon or sooner if something were to change. Don't let the name fool you! Although mini sprints are 725 pound scaled-down welterweight versions
of the popular "World of Outlaw" open-wheeled sprint cars, they are serious and sophisticated
racing machines. Car stability, provided by characteristic top and front wings, coupled with
the 200 horsepower generated by 1200cc motorcycle engines, produces average lap speeds on 1/2
mile dirt tracks in excess of 100 miles per hour. Mini sprint car racing is quick, exciting,
and highly competitive.
