Chase William Michael Predmore was born on 9-14-2008 at 3:39am. He was 9.8 pounds, 20 1/4 inches long. Congratulations from all of us at CNYMS to Tim and Michele, now know to all as a very proud Mom and Dad.

$1,000 Challenge added to Big Races for 1200cc and 750cc Mini Sprints

WESTFIELD, MA Saturday September 20 promises to be the most exciting night of the year at Whip City Speedway in Westfield, MA, with extra distance, extra purse races for both the 1200cc Mini Sprints and their 750cc colleagues. An extra added $1,000 challenge by International Paper Products Corporation could result in the biggest payday of the year for a pair of drivers.
For the 1200cc Mini Sprints, K&S Powersports, Haskell Motorsports and Mike Emhof Motorsports present a 25 lap feature paying $1,500 to win from a total purse of $6,000.

Glen Ridge Rescheduled for Saturday October 25, 2008
Sodus, NY – Mother Nature has not been kind to the traveling teams on the A-Verdi Storage Containers / CNYMS tour in 2008. As many tracks have experienced throughout the season a dark cloud appeared over top of the New Glen Ridge Speedway on Friday evening which in the end would wash out the second visit of the lightning fast Mini Sprints.

Don't let the name fool you! Although mini sprints are 725 pound scaled-down welterweight versions
of the popular "World of Outlaw" open-wheeled sprint cars, they are serious and sophisticated
racing machines. Car stability, provided by characteristic top and front wings, coupled with
the 200 horsepower generated by 1200cc motorcycle engines, produces average lap speeds on 1/2
mile dirt tracks in excess of 100 miles per hour. Mini sprint car racing is quick, exciting,
and highly competitive.
